Role
Noah Peterson is responsible for the written content on Wprestorix: the guides, the service pages and the answers in our FAQ. That means choosing topics, researching them against official sources, writing in plain Australian English, and keeping pages up to date when rules change.
We use a pen name for the editor. We do not list qualifications or employers on this page, because a pen name cannot be checked against them, and we would rather you judged the guides on their sources than on claims you cannot verify.
How pages are written
- Every factual or legal statement links to its source, with a label showing whether it is an official publication, a secondary summary or a commercial publisher.
- Quoted figures, such as Google's review times or published price ranges, are given in the source's own terms rather than rounded into something more convenient.
- Guides answer their question near the top, then explain the detail.
- Nothing is presented as legal advice. Where a guide touches on privacy law or reporting duties, it points to the regulator.
The full approach is set out in our editorial policy.
Topics covered
The guides focus on what a small business owner needs when a WordPress site is in trouble, or to keep it out of trouble: recognising a hack, the first steps, Google warnings, data breach and ransomware reporting rules, backups, hardening, maintenance plans and costs.
Corrections
If you spot an error or a rule that has changed, email hello@wprestorix.online with the page address and what needs fixing. Corrections are made as soon as they are confirmed, and the page's updated date changes to match.
