What we do
Wprestorix works on WordPress sites that have been hacked, infected, flagged by Google or broken, and on the routine care that makes those problems less likely. Our services cover malware removal, recovery, warning removal, hardening, backups, monitoring and maintenance.
We work remotely with businesses anywhere in Australia, because the work happens inside your hosting account and WordPress dashboard rather than in your office.
Why WordPress only
WordPress has a well-documented structure: the official hardening guide describes which files and folders should be writable, how configuration is protected and how updates work. Concentrating on that one platform lets us compare a site with a clean install file by file and check its setup against that guidance. It also means we say no to work on other platforms rather than learning on your site.
How we work
Three habits run through everything we do:
- Copy before changing. Every job starts with a full copy of the site, so nothing is lost and evidence is preserved.
- Root cause, not just symptoms. Removing malware without finding how it got there invites a repeat. We look for the entry point, and if we cannot confirm it, we say so.
- Everything in writing. You get a written quote before work starts and a written report when it ends, in plain English.

What we will not promise
We will not tell you a site can never be hacked again, because no one can make that true. We will not promise how fast Google will remove a warning, because Google sets its own review times. We will not quote uptime percentages for hosting we do not run. And we will not describe a service as round-the-clock unless someone is actually available at those hours.
What we will do is explain the risks honestly, do careful work, and tell you plainly what was done and what is left.

The guides on this site are written to be useful whether or not you ever hire us. They are edited by Noah Peterson, cite their sources, and say clearly when a source is a secondary summary or a commercial publisher. Our editorial policy explains how pages are researched and corrected.
